Het is natuurlijk moeilijk om een keuze te maken tussen al die prachtige eindexamenstukken van de Graduation show, maar er zijn een aantal die ik me echt aanspraken.
Hier boven zijn 2 afbeeldingen van 'Bird city' van Eveline Visser. Zij schrijft hierover;
'Bird City is a city for a mixed bird community. 33 Nesting boxes, catering for the housing needs of 33 different species of birds, to form a breeding ground for the winged inhabitants of the city. The design requires quite a delicate toch; the blue tit wants an opening with a 28 millimetre diameter; the great tit wants 32 millimetre, and the tawny owl wil not enter below 80. While one type of bird wants a squat and wide little house, another may prefer a tall and narrow one. Will the birds be pigeonholed? Mount the rack on your wall and see which squatters you will accommodate.'Daarnaast liet Eveline Visser ook werk zien genaamd 'Open Town Hall'. Zij heeft hiermee een prachtige oplossing voor de lelijke maar hufterbestendige voetbal/basketbal plekken (je weet wel zo'n hoog hek om een betonnen trapveldje).

'A series of concrete paving stones that will encourage people to dance. Withe Concrete Choreographies the city's walkways ans squares will have rhythm, of better still, dance laid into them. Ripples, bulges, and dents will evoke a range of dance steps, jumps and turns. The forms and finishinggs will be designed to facilitate movement; depending on the paving patterns, the stones will give rise to new choreographies.'
